When I Woke

Rusted Root

Released in November 1998, this may arguably be the bands best work to date. Here, Root blends the styles of it's previous three albums, live shows, & some new things as well. It's great to hear Liz Berlin stepping up for some lead singing on the dusted off & reworked "Moon". Furthur Fest friends Hot Tuna join the band for a cover of the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want". Geggy Tah's Tommy Jordan guests on "Live A Long Time". And members of Root's road crew help out on a few songs as well.
